yourself “volunteered” to make seven dozen cookies for the
first grade class. What you will find is this:

Adventist Worship Center is an active, exciting and growing ministry
with many opportunities to get involved and grow in your relationship
with Christ. We have many Bible studies and service opportunities for
families to use their gifts and talents as they serve the church and the
community. We also have fun ways for families to make new friends through
our Hiking Ministry, First Friday Fun Nights, Scrapbooking Ministry
and more. Our vision is to create a culture that enfolds, equips, and expands
ministry to the families of Adventist Worship Center and in the community
through grace and service.
Safe Environment
Adventist Worship Center is a safe environment for people who are curious
about what a relationship with God really means. Our dress is casual
and everything we do is designed to be relevant and relational. If you
have no church background or have been away from church for awhile,
or if you have just been bruised, bored, beaten up or burned out on
church, you can sit in the back, take it in and move forward on your
own pace.

Authentic Community
For those who are not yet fully committed to following Jesus Christ, there will be no pressure at Adventist Worship Center to conform to any preconceived expectations. You don’t have to know or sing our songs.
In fact, we make every effort as part of our worship experience
to enjoy the music of our culture as well as the music of the church so
that you will feel accepted and valued.

Christian Lifestyle
You will not be expected to be perfect in "Christian lifestyle" while study to understand God message at the Adventist Worship Center. That does not mean that God has no standards. But we recognize that God has his own schedule for your life and our church does not have the right to determine or dictate what that is. Simply put, we do not expect persons not yet fully committed to following Jesus to aspire to understand Christ and follow His teaching. We don't want you to act like anything. We want you to feel safe to be yourself. But be prepared, if you stay curious long enough, you will find what you are looking for and God will transform you from the inside out. Then your life will change because you want it to. |
