The mission of the Adventist Worship Cente
is to assist the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the proclamation of the
gospel to all peoples through the ministry of Adventist Volunteers, matching
talents, gifts, resources and professional expertise with defined needs.
FAITH MINISTRIES
We hope that you will enjoy your online experience and
get your questions answered about Adventist Worship Center.
Adventist Worship Center emphasizes creating fully engaged disciples of
Jesus Christ who are getting out of the church building serving our community
and sharing Gods grace with those who are strangers to His grace. God wants to work through your talents, life experiences, and passions
to touch people with his love.
At Adventist Worship Center Adventist Fellowship we consider
ourselves an "Externally Focused Church. "
What is an externally focused church?
A church that is inwardly strong
in spiritual development and community.
A church that integrates good
deeds and good news into the life of every member and attendee. It's
about having an active faith that shows up in tangible ways.
A church that believes in
Public proclamation of the Gospel, but also believes in congregational
incarnation in the community.
A church that builds on truth
and builds out into the world; living the life of a Christ follower
by serving in the community.
A church that values impact
and influence in the community more than attendance numbers.
A church that looks for different
ways our faith community can be helpful in fulfilling the needs and
dreams of our city and surrounding communities.
A church that our community
would greatly miss if we weren't here anymore.
A church that serve
worship as well as outwardly strong
in serving and loving our
Service is that wonderful opportunity where a need
is met by someone who is ready, willing and able to do it. At Adventist
Worship Center, we believe that Jesus came to save us and that he came
to heal and restore. People followed him, listened to him and were healed
by him. The Bible also records in Mathew 20:28 that Jesus came "to
serve and to give. "
We believe that the church is here to lead people
to Jesus so they can be saved and restored. We also believe that, like
Jesus, the church is a place of serving and giving. We believe that the
church is Gods appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was
organized for service, and its mission is to carry the Gospel to the world.

Urban Ministries
Cities are more than malls, high rises, and mass commutes. Cities are
individuals who are precious in the eyes of Jesus. Jesus wept over the
cities not out of pity but because He knew the challenges that would hinder
the gospel work in urban areas. But the apostles, and Paul in particular,
demonstrated the need to reach cities and the difference the gospel can
make in the cities of Corinth, Rome, and Thessolonica. We need the same
passion to minister to people living in our modern urban environments.
The following resources are provided to nurture urban churches and urban
ministries, and to encourage and to equip those involved in urban evangelism. These resources are divided into five categories: Renewal, Equipping,
Outreach, Reaping, and Nurture. All who may be called to urban ministry
and evangelism will benefit from utilizing the following these resources.
